About the Cesar E. Chavez Foundation Scholarship Program
The Cesar E. Chavez Foundation Scholarship Program is designed to support young leaders from Northern California

Award
Scholars are selected based on merit. Scholarship recipients will receive $1,500.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must have a permanent address in Northern California
- Minimum of 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for high school students
- Minimum of 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for undergraduate and graduate students
- Plan to enroll full-time in an accredited, public or not-for-profit, four-year university, or graduate school, in the US, for the 2026-2027 academic year
- Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Legal Resident, DACA, or other Eligible Non-Citizen (as defined by FAFSA)
- Complete and submit the 2026-2027 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- The program is open to students of all races that identify as being of Hispanic Heritage
